birth.. The DBR does not guarantee the health or quality of the dog. The DBR is not affiliated
with and does not license or endorse any breeders, brokers or pet dealers who may sell dogs that
are registered or can be registered with DBR including those listed on this site, the DBR has no
control over their business practices and is not liable for the any dealings between any breeders,
brokers, or pet dealers and their purchasers.

Breeders Choice Program -Breeders who take part in this program will receive Free Litter Registrations.
Criteria to join:
Internet, Email or Fax capabilities
Apply for a breeder identification number (no charge)
Breed at least 2 litters in a calendar year and use the Breeders Choice Program ID number to register litters.
Promote the DBR by encouraging new owners to maintain /register their puppy/dog with the Designer Breed Registry more details click here
**This is a new program if you wish to apply now to register any litter retro active to January 1, 2010 will be free of charge.

Foundation Breeder Status
The DBR Foundation Breeders status for breeders of newly formed and accepted breeds, rare breeds and registered purebreds who are among the first 50 dogs
in that breed in each foundation breeder class.
Blue Ribbon Program:
Dogs eligible for the Designer Breed Registry Blue Ribbon Program must have 3 generations of documented records showing that that Designer Breed has been only bred to the same designer cross and
that individual is the 3rd generation
Elite Program:
Dogs eligible for the Designer Breed Registry Elite Program must have 5 generations of documented records showing that that Designer Breed has been only bred to the same designer cross and that
individual is the 5th generation
The DBR Foundation Breeders status for breeders of newly formed and accepted breeds, rare breeds and registered purebreds who are among the first 50 dogs
